We began more as college scavengers than wine makers. Freshman year we made our 1st barrel from a winery's left-overs. The next year we almost saw a winery dump out wine. Almost. The next year we learned that big wineyards have pretty, pretty, pretty low security at night. Each year our wine got a little better, and by now it is even drinkable.
Our first wine release party was where the idea to go "legit" came from. A few lawyers later and a lot of procrastination averted, we have the bottle you hopefully have drank by now.
This is why best friends should not have a common drinkable interest, and why brothers should not go to school together.
